[Hiring] Technical Writer & UX Designer @Atlas Reality, Inc.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Technical Writer & UX Designer to join our team. This hybrid role requires a unique blend of skills, including technical writing, user experience (UX) design, and a strong understanding of mobile gaming. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical documentation and designing user experiences for our mobile games using Figma.

Responsibilities:

1. Produce clear, concise, and well-organized technical documentation for internal and external use, ensuring that it meets the needs of our development team and end-users.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to gather information and create comprehensive documentation.
3. Design user experiences for our mobile games using Figma, ensuring that they are engaging, intuitive, and user-friendly.
4. Conduct user research and usability testing to identify areas for improvement and implement changes based on feedback.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in technical writing and UX design to continuously improve our products.
6. Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as needed, such as quality assurance testing and project management.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, UX Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. At least 1 year of experience in technical writing and/or UX design, preferably in the mobile gaming industry.
3. Proficient in Figma or other UX design tools.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
5. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
6. Familiarity with location-based mobile games and an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this space.
7. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

1. Experience with other design tools, such as Sketch or Adobe XD.
2. Knowledge of programming languages or mobile app development.
3. A strong portfolio showcasing your technical writing and UX design work.
