About the Role:

Carbyne’s marketing design lead will drive creative development and translate brand strategy into innovative brand and advertising experiences across various communication channels (Web, Social, Slide Decks, Sales Collateral, Print, and Booth Design). This candidate will become the brand steward, ensuring our guidelines are followed and evolving our brand identity in conjunction with our market growth.

The right candidate will look at marketing through a non-traditional lens, and design projects from ideation through implementation in partnership with the Marketing team and other cross-functional teams. The lead marketing designer brings Carbyne a developed sense of how to balance speed, quality, and consistency of design. As an experienced designer, this person will move quickly, be flexible, and build strong and compelling journey scenarios, information architecture, interaction, and visual designs. The role has 1 direct report.

Requirements

You might be a great fit if:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of design experience on a brand or marketing team
• 2-3 years of experience managing another designer
• A portfolio of work that demonstrates an ability to execute multiple styles of design across various channels (Web, Social, Product)
• Experience pushing a brand forward with fresh, inventive ideas
• Extensive knowledge of Design, Digital, Video, Print and Photography from concept to production
• Understanding of performance-based marketing strategies
• Strong understanding of UX and website behavior in a b2b environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in Figma, Canva, Google Slides, and both Mac and Adobe creative suites
