FULL-TIME GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Compensation: $60,000 to $65,000 + Comprehensive Health, Dental, Vision Insurance

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team at Penny Appeal USA. The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in visually representing our organization's mission, values, and impact through engaging and compelling designs. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to produce visually stunning materials for both digital and print platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Create visually captivating designs for a wide range of mediums, including digital platforms,social media campaigns, print materials, promotional items, and event collateral.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to develop creative concepts and designs that align with the organization's brand guidelines and objectives.
• Create concepts and designs for digital and print media that effectively target specific audiences while maintaining consistency with our brand's style and voice.
• Produce eye-catching graphics, illustrations, infographics, and other visual content to effectively communicate complex ideas and information.
• Develop and maintain a library of design assets, templates, and resources to support efficient and consistent design production.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and software, and apply new techniques and technologies to enhance the quality and impact of our designs.
• Ensure timely delivery of design projects while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Communications, and Development, and Program departments, to understand their design needs and provide creative
  solutions.
• Manage and organize design files, including archiving and version control, to ensure easy accessibility and smooth collaboration.
• Collaborate with vendors for print materials, mailers, and promotional merchandise, ensuring
  high-quality production and timely delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2-3 years) as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a non-profit or socially conscious organization.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
• Ability to design captivating and interactive social media posts on all social media platforms (included but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram posts and stories)
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating creative thinking, attention to detail, and visual impact.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
• Knowledge of best practices in digital and print design, including file formats, image optimization, and resolution.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and interpret design requirements.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
