[Hiring] Game7 - Senior Design Manager @Windranger

Game7 is one of the biggest players in Web3 Gaming. Our mandate is to support Web3 Gaming through Grants, Investments, Tooling and Engineering support. Virtually every blockchain technology under development today will be used by the gaming industry at one point or the other. There is no other space in crypto that can say that. We want to give you a front row seat.

The community is made up of crypto, gaming and DeFi veterans who are passionate about crypto, gaming and distributed entities.

• You'll lead and manage a team of high-performance designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team success.

• Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketers, to develop and execute design strategies that meet business objectives in the web3 and gaming space.

• Oversee the design process from start to finish, including researching, conceptualizing, prototyping, testing, and refining designs to ensure they meet the client's needs and specifications.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and goals in the web3 and gaming space, and provide design recommendations and solutions that meet their objectives.

• Conduct regular design reviews with team members, providing feedback and coaching to help them grow and develop their skills.

• Stay up-to-date with design trends, technologies, and best practices in the web3 and gaming space, and incorporate them into the team's workflow as appropriate.

• Represent the design team in meetings and presentations with clients and stakeholders in the web3 and gaming space.

• 7+ years of experience in product design and management, with a proven track record of leading and managing high-performance teams

• Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and user experience design.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders in the web3 and gaming space.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

• Strong interest in web3 technologies, gaming and DAO's and a desire to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in these spaces.If you think you have valuable experience to bring to the organization, but don’t necessarily meet all of the criteria for the role, we still want to hear from you. If you have experience, knowledge or experience in Web3, Gaming, DeFi, GameFi, DAO’s or other gaming and blockchain specific areas then we consider this an excellent skill set.
