[Hiring] Game Designer @Voldex

About the Role:

Voldex is hiring an experienced game designer to help bring the fun to our millions of monthly active users. Together with our outstanding team of artists, engineers, producers, data analysts, and more, you'll build content and features that delight players all over the world.

What You'll Do:

• Review existing systems and designs across Voldex’s live products to identify areas of improvement and provide design solutions

• Create and/or review game design documents and provide feedback and direction to development teams, ensuring that the designs meet company standards

• Work closely with Product and Art team on related game assets and deliverables

• Balance new features to ensure a proper fit within the game's economy

• Use data to identify problems, evaluate trade-offs and prioritize design solutions to be implemented into the live products

• Ongoing competitive research and playtesting

What You Bring to the Team:

• Proven experience designing gameplay features in a live service environment

• Deep interest in UGC games/content like Roblox, Minecraft, or Fortnite

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to convey game design concepts to a cross-disciplinary audience

Bonus Points for:

• Degree in Game Design, Interactive Media, or a related field of study

• Prior experience shipping features or whole games on Roblox

• Background in mobile or free-to-play (F2P) game development

• Some experience in Level Design
