MRM Global has recently won a multi-year national contract with a major drink's distributor. We are looking for an energetic, experienced and solution-oriented Customer Success Manager to implement the team's strategy, manage, and nurture their “book of business” and drive our product adoption and user engagement rates ever higher.

The Director of Custom Design and Print role is a lynchpin leadership position in MRM’s North American team. You will be responsible for leading the business unit and ensuring that we exceed customer service level agreements and achieve MRM’s internal business metrics such as revenue, profit, turnaround speed, customer satisfaction and quality.

The majority of our print orders are created through our technology platform which allows users to create their own designs and select from a catalogue of standardized products. However, when our clients want to provide their customers with unique and premium marketing materials, that are not available on our App, we manage this through our Custom design and print process.

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced people and process manager who thrives on building and improving processes and managing a team of talented creatives and administrators. It is important that you have a growth mindset, a positive attitude towards taking responsibility and solving tricky problems. We are looking for someone who enjoys operating at a very fast pace, prepared to provide strategic direction and leadership at the same time as rolling up the sleeves and helping with the day-to-day activities of the team.

What you’ll do;

• Hire, lead, manage and be accountable for MRM’s Custom Design and Print team.
• Manage all aspects of custom print orders from initial client consultation to final delivery, including the P&L for MRM’s Custom Workflow business unit in North America
• Continue to expand MRM’s custom design and production supply chain, with an on-demand approach, with national coverage across the USA
• Identify suitable suppliers, agree pricing and ways of working, review and manage contractual agreements as required
• Build out and continuously improve the process; how MRM receive and assign orders to supplier, quoting, approvals, workflow management, reporting, invoicing
• Manage the online process used for development of graphic design work
• Work with the rest of the business to determine required product or technical integrations to ensure the best customer experience.
• Build risk register and mitigating/responsive actions to be taken.
• Maintain constant internal communication with the Director of Customer Success, VP of Sales, VP Operations, Head of Supply Chain and the CEO to ensure that revenue and profit targets are being met.
• Build and maintain metrics trackers that track SLAs, quality and customer satisfaction KPI’s.

What you’ll bring;

• You will have at least 5 years of experience of managing large scale custom design and print workflows in an agency or marketing services environment.
• Experience of significantly increasing quality, speed and profitability in existing processes and systems.
• Previous experience building and managing complex supply chain with multiple suppliers and stakeholder management across all levels – from a CEO to the support & production teams
• Experience in sourcing, onboarding, and managing a large variety of suppliers across design services, POS print & accessories
• Excellent negotiation skills with high financial acumen and the ability to work with our suppliers to develop financial models that ensure budgets are met.
• Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills
• A growth mindset and proven desire for continuous learning and improvement
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal and collaboration skills with colleagues and clients
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to be creative and adaptable

Not essential, it would be a bonus if you;

• Experience of working with major beer, wine and spirits distributors and/or suppliers in the USA.
