[Hiring] Database Administrator @ready

We need your expertise to implement actionable decisions, maintain a database, solve problems, translate data in a reporting capacity, and embed security best practices in Ready’s database.

We’re hiring a database centric skillset to be part of team growth and evolution to help elevate our practices as we continue to scale securely.

 

A bit about you 🥇

 

• 5+ years building and maintaining databases; ideal candidates with have experience at various stage of scale within fast-moving startups

• Technical experience with Linux, Postgres, SQL, GCP, automation, database reporting and maintenance

• Experience managing database security and implementing policies

• Strong sense of statistics to disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Familiarity with database security tactics and implementation is a plus

• You ask questions before solving problems

• You’re organized, thoughtful, creative, and rigorous

• Able to work efficiently and independently; proactive communicator in a distributed and often asynchronous environment

 

About your role at Ready ⚡️

• Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems 

• Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues, database capacity, and database scalability

• Writing new support programs and scripts to increase data security

• Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients

• Work independently and with your teammates to devise solutions to problems
