Customer Success Manager

We’re looking for a driven and personable Customer Success Manager to join our team.  This role will be directly responsible for supporting, retaining, and growing a book of accounts in an exciting and dynamic new industry.  We’d expect this individual to play a significant role in shaping the culture and operational processes in our growing Customer Success department and the larger Revenue org. This role will report to our Senior Director of Customer Success. 

The ideal candidate will be motivated by building long-term strategic relationships with clients and feel energized by helping customers transition to a more sustainable future.

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee a portfolio of accounts, primarily small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) – responsibilities include onboarding, support, and contract renewals.
  • Partner with our product, sustainability and sales teams to maintain a streamlined onboarding process, assuring our application is an integral part of each client’s sustainability efforts.  
  • Identify and track clients’ key objectives, product milestones, internal wins, and future product interests.
  • Recognize potential churn risk and revenue growth across your accounts and collaborate on the best approach to retain and expand these relationships.
  • Increase client satisfaction by monitoring product adoption; identify common trends and drive efficiencies across multiple accounts.
  • Lead effective strategic business reviews, resulting in a better understanding of customer health, and a keen understanding of market trends and shifts.
  • Support our goal to be a global application and thought leader in the carbon accounting, sustainability, and ESG space. 

 

Who you are:  

  • 2-4 years of work in Success, account management, consulting, or strategy roles 
  • Familiarity with common SaaS tooling such as Hubspot, ChurnZero is a plus  
  • Extremely organized individual comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to function and contribute within a team, while also having willingness to accomplish tasks individually successfully 
  • Have an open-minded desire to learn, grow and adapt as your responsibilities evolve
  • Effective time management skills with an ability to identify and prioritize essential tasks
  • A good listener; focus on building trusted relationships with customers
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills 
  • Comfortable with a remote working environment
  • A passion for sustainability - You care about climate change and want to be part of the solution
