We are seeking a creative sustainable business professional to help design our climate and environmental sustainability offer so that we can create more impact amidst the urgent crises facing our planet, ecosystems and frontline communities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Climate & Sustainability Program Designer for a short-term role. This role reports directly to the Chief Experience Officer who is responsible for overseeing NationSwell’s membership businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing a climate and sustainability membership offer and collective action programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design offers and go-to-market strategies that enable NationSwell to dramatically grow its impact in environmental sustainability.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of NationSwell's business model, track record, and differentiation
• Conduct research and analysis to identify key opportunity areas for addressing climate change through corporate sustainability programs and philanthropy
• Develop expertise and landscape analysis of existing sustainability networks and collaborative efforts, and develop a well-informed point of view on where NationSwell’s unique capabilities will contribute most to climate / environmental progress
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the membership offer is well-positioned, aligned to NationSwell business objectives and impact capabilities, and effectively leverages existing networks and resources.
• Present and refine the membership offer based on feedback from stakeholders and industry experts.
• Identify potential customers and partners

EXPECTED COMPENSATION

$6,000/mo for 3-mo period

QUALIFICAITONS

• At least 5 years of experience in climate change, sustainability, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of key priorities for addressing climate change and the wide range of current efforts, including those driven by corporate sustainability programs and philanthropy.
• Familiarity with sustainability networks and collaborative approaches to address social and environmental problems
• Strong business acumen and creative mindset
• Graduate students enrolled in MBA or sustainability programs, or mid-career professionals seeking to accelerate progress on climate change are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
