What we are looking for:

We are looking for a professional with years of experience in a similar role to ensure operational excellence across the organisation. An enthusiastic individual, with strong organisational and leadership skills to inspire, motivate and build functional teams. The ideal candidate must increase the organisation’s productivity, efficiency and profitability, as well as manage various teams. This is an excellent role for a person who has previous, proven experience in both customer experience, systems, operational processes and procedures, managing people successfully, is technologically savvy and is capable of building processes that contribute to change, and move the business forward.

This job requires relocation to Cyprus and you must be willing to relocate.

 

 

Responsibilities

• Establish a collaborative working relationship and culture with all stakeholders across the organisation
• Work with the Management team to build the organisation to be more agile, more responsive and successful in its main purpose (connect buyers with sellers)
• Ensure the organisation’s operational function and success
• Define the way, the means, the tools and the internal policies to implement a continuous improvement process for all of your responsible parts

• Work closely with the Head of Commercial Operations to see how the market responds to the new services and products. Fail fast and learn fast

• Use technology to accomplish Bazaraki’s mission (e.g. check and suggest technical changes and features, communicate with the development team for new features, etc.)

• Review international trends of classifiers to check the latest international developments.
• Discuss with the CEO to see what the strategic demands are.

• Oversee the work of teams and employees that are under the Operations department, e.g. Customer Success, Moderation, Product Owner, Marketeer, etc.

• Cooperate with the Financial Associates to have an oversight of all the financial matters and make things progress
• Work with the Legal Associates for the open issues and follow up on progress on all legal matters
• Cooperate closely with the CEO to drive the business forward

Requirements

 

• University Degree preferably in Engineering or Information Technology or Marketing or Business Administration
• 3+ years of previous proven professional experience in a similar role, preferably in a digital organisation
• Technical background and/or experience in working with technology on digital platforms
• Fair level of experience in strategic customer service and marketing
• Experience in leading a company’s digital transformation involving major people, process and cultural changes
• Excellent use of Greek and English language, both written and oral
• Strategic but practical, hands-on mindset. You should be experienced in putting the strategy into practice
• Outstanding organisational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and people management skills and experience in managing teams: expert in selecting people, in analysing needs and more importantly, building and empowering teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels across the organisation

• Capability to be an active representative of the company.
• Team player who is able to build excellent working relationships
• Proactive, goal-oriented and results-driven mentality
• Be an advocate of the follow up mentality and applied creativity. Capable to translate even vague ideas of the team into robust operations
• Be meticulous in your communications. You should be capable to communicate relatively complex subjects in a concise and clear way even to people who are not the experts in your field
• Relocation to Cyprus is a mandatory requirement
