Business Analyst

What we're looking for: We are looking for a fluent communicator in business English, a solution oriented, independent and experienced Business Analyst. Our ideal candidate is curious by nature, has been working in product companies/start ups and is familiar with the software development life cycle. Our recruitment process includes two interviews and an assignment. This is a full time, freelance contract job, remote. 

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate product planning, requirements, design, and technical implementation

• Clearly define business needs and product problems to develop solutions

• Translate high-level product requests into user stories with clear acceptance criteria

• Act as internal point of contact for development teams to clarify requirements

• Create detailed documentation for released and upcoming product features to support clients and the operations team

• Identify and address gaps in product requirements and documentation, determining the effectiveness of proposed solutions

• Test user acceptance

• Stay current with industry trends and market changes to inform product decisions

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role

• Experience with internal or user-facing products

• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities

• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine the best solutions

• Knowledge of common Business Analysis tools and techniques, such as INVEST, A/C techniques, and wireframe/mockup creation, is an advantage

• Exceptional documentation skills

• In-depth understanding of the software development life cycle

• Familiarity working in a cross-functional team structure
