We started life in 2016 in a garden shed in the UK. Today, we’re building FitXR, one of the top-downloaded apps on the Meta Quest store. We’ve raised close to $40m from top investors such as Maveron, Hiro, BoostVC and TriplePoint.

We’re a remote-first team of just under 100 people from across the US, UK, and Spain, and we’re committed to making it simpler and more enjoyable for people to get moving. We believe that anybody can fall in love with fitness and make movement part of their life.

Content Team @ FitXR :

The Content Team is responsible for delivering effective and fun classes for our community to play. We cover everything from programming the workouts, to playlist selection, to creating the game you actually see on the platform. The Fitness team specifically focuses on assuring quality programming and coaching from our instructors. We want members to feel successful, accomplished, and like FitXR helps them achieve a healthy lifestyle.

The Role

Our instructor's role is to make members feel the same excitement, encouragement, and success they would find in an in-person fitness class, in a VR fitness class. They also act as the face and voice of the brand on socials. The average workload is approximately 10-15 hours a week, offers flexible working hours, and is 100% remote with (the exceptions of photoshoots and social events). Instructors work closely with our Audio Engineer and Voice Over Producer to record and perform class scripts.

 

What you’ll do 👀

• Write quality scripts that adhere to FitXR guidelines

• Deliver captivating voice over coaching for classes

• Choreograph classes (Dance & Sculpt instructors only)

• Give input and be part of tests for new studio concepts

• Create quality social media content and engage on social posts and in the FitXR Facebook community

• Receive and implement feedback from team

 

You should apply if ✅

• A group fitness and/or personal trainer certification

• Experience teaching music-driven group fitness classes (particularly kickboxing, dance, Barre, & HIIT)

• Experience doing voice over or on-camera training on a digital platform

• Are impeccable with time management and deadlines

• Have a strong team mentality

• Have strong multitasking skills

• Experience making quality social media content

Our interview process takes place on Google Hangouts and tends to consist of the following stages:

• Audition

• Meeting with the team
